Auburn Tigers Tidbits 4.25.12: Baseball Blanks Troy, No Tigers Teams in Action Today

The Auburn Tigers baseball team took to the diamond on Tuesday night and took home their second win of the season over the Troy Trojans.

The Tigers won the game 7-0, blanking the Trojans in Troy. Auburn started Trey Cochran-Gill, but Derek Varnadore and Justin Bryant attributed to the shutout from the mound.

Auburn arguably had their best game of the season, an effort that will need to continue as the Tigers prepare to close the season and head into the SEC and NCAA tournaments.

Baseball, Softball and Track are all in action this weekend, with Track and Field starting back competition tomorrow.

As the Tigers return to the competition fields tomorrow, I will be back with the Tigers Tidbits to keep you ladies and gents up to date on all things Auburn.

In Case You Missed It

I wrote a five most important post spring dates piece for Bleacher Report yesterday. If you missed it, take a look. Great stuff over there at B/R.

Tuesday brought a great show from the Shug Jordan Parkway Radio hour with K.C. Whitten and I bringing the chatter about a number of hot topics in sports. It is a fun - at times ridiculous - show that covers a lot of hot topics. Check it out on the SJP Radio link above on the page.

If you want to take us mobile, we are on iTunes and are downloadable from our site here when using a smartphone.

Thanks for taking a ride on the Parkway this morning, happy hump-day. War Eagle.
